Default Tranny Oil

What kind of oil do you use? If the Syn3 or motor oil isn't thick enough how do all the Jap and Europen bikes use it??? I was going to use Amsoil but they p!ssed me off. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

if you have gears meshing, why would you not use gear grease? Mobile 1 Syn 75W-90 gear lube.

I've got Redline Shockproof Heavy in my bike now. Don't really notice a huge difference between that and what came in the bike (Formula +) once the bike is warmed up. No problems either though.

Redline Shockproof Heavy. In my application it did make shifting a little easier, pretty noticeable right off the bat. I'm sure Mobil 1 would be a good choice also. I'm partial to the synthetics.

I checked my area and the closest dealer was 25 miles away. I got the kit to become a dealer and it's a multi-level marketing (pyramid) deal. I stopped into the local Kaw dealer for some Plexus and he has Amsoil on the shelf! I might use it but I'm not going to sell it cause the dealer is discounting it. These mlm schemes flood the market with dealers and stealers and become more trouble than they're worth. Some of the best American products ever made have been ruined by mlm. Just look at Kirby Vacuums, Tupperware, etc.
