Whats the required break in for new cams? I remember from the hot rod days you always held a motor at a certain RPM for like 15 or 20 minutes to break the cam in properly. I dont remember breaking in any of the other cam jobs ive done on bikes.

 

I had mine broke-in on the dyno, which means he ran the **** out of it! I don't believe there's any break-in period for a new cam.

 

There is no break in requirements for roller cams and lifters
