So far so good... I've never had any grips besides the stock grips. It was a spur of da moment buy during Christmas exchanges. They'll be on there for a while I'm sure. Kinda neat how it "clinks" when I grab the clutch to fire it up:-)
I had them on (2) 2003 Wide Glides, one mine one the wifes and now an '09 FLHTCU. I really like the chrome strip the way it fits in the curl of your fingers, almost acts like a little "cramp buster" by helping hold the throttle. They also have the varying diameters on them; makes it like holding a baseball (sort of). It lets the shorter fingers go around the grip more but still gives the large feeling in the center. I guess if you have huge hands thats not an issue, but the wife loves these grips. I will never go back to a round grip.
I found the stickyness to go away with soap and water.
BTW: I always wear full fingered gloves. Maybe that makes a difference.
got 'em on mine also, (heated) andI
do like them for sure. so far so good
as far as no sticky...............wear gloves
all the time so that may help some as well
as regular cleaning to keep the gunk off.
Same with mine, they were sticky. Cleaned them with alcohol, windex and what else I had @ the house. Drove me nuts, replaced w/ PM grips and never looked back...
