Default Inflatable seats

I own a 09 Ultra Classic. I'm looking to purchase a new seat that won't put my butt to sleep in 50 miles. I'm looking at the Road Zeppelin that HD sells. Is there anyone here that has used one or anything similar? I hate to spend that much money to find out it's no better then the stock seat or a seat cushion.

I've never heard rave reviews on the Zeppelin for the $$ spent. I never do over 500 mile days but, love my C&C sport tour for that many miles!

iam not sure how much your seat cost but my wife bought a airhawk seat cover that is inflatable and she loves it. she paid $104.00 for a 14x14 ask your local dealer or indy to look it up for ya they have differant sizes for 2 up or solo.

I had the Road Zeppelin on an Ultra Classic a few years back. I was not impressed with it. I went to a Russell Day-Long, which I have had on a number of my previous rides. On a stock seat orthe Zeppelin I was good for about 200 miles before discomfort would set in. With the Russell Day-Long I have done a number of 600 mile days back-to-back, and on one occasion a 931 mile day. The Russell is both foam and springs and is designed to spread your weight across the seat, and not center the weight on the tail bone. Its worth a look!

When I had an Ultra I put the Sundowner on...never had a problem with discomfort after that.

+1 on the Russell Day Long. I used to be hurting after a 200 mile ride. After going with the Russell seat mod, I can ride day after day of 700 miles plus without any discomfort what so ever. I rode from Phoenix to Hyder Alaska and back and 1 1/2 weeks later I went to Sturgis. It is the best money I have spent so far.
