I am still researching the EG Limited the local dealer has for sale. What has been some of the problems with the 2010 with the 103" in it? Is there still a heat problem for the passenger? What improvements(upgrades)would you have done before delivery?

Thanks to everyone that answered all the other posts I have made concerning this bike, etc. I value the info I get on here a lot.

Joe

No problems other than cats. A little work to let it breathe better. I love mine.

No problems with mine, took the cat off when I did the full Fuel Moto Stage 1. On the newer models the cross over goes under the bike to reduce the heat on the passenger's feet.

Default no problems

I ran just over 10,000 on mine before deer season started in mid-September.

I swapped out the stock air cleaner for a K&N, added an EZ Up center stand and tour pack adjuster (for the cooler to fit on trips) - other than that no modifications. I took two 2,500 mile "turn and burn" trips on it: one with my GIB and one w/o. She far prefers it to my 1995 due to the improved creature comforts.

I switched to Red Line Heavy in the transmission at 500 miles and Syn 3 in the mill at the same point. Just switched to Red Line in the primary before putting it up for hunting season.

The bike is built to run 75 mph down an Interstate for best mileage: mine gets 48 at that speed, lower 40's at lower speeds. I mostly ride "turn and burn" routes, not Interstates, so probably average 42ish.

No problems to date: even the tires don't show much wear. Bike is extremely easy to pull scheduled services. I turn my own wrenches, so it has not been back to the dealer since it came in March 2010. March 2011 it will go back on the road - when hunting season is over.

Depending on the seat, you may want to change it. Stage 1 and get rid of the cat and then whatever modifications you want to make it yours.

I have a little over 27K on my 2010 Limited. It's been a great bike so far.

I have slip-ons, A/C, and a PC V. I didn't like the stock seat at all so it was replaced with the Hammock seat. I've also upgraded the stereo with an Arc Audio amp and Hertz 6.5" component speakers.

The only problem I've had so far was with the radio. It had to be replaced because the display went blank.
