The stock crossover pipe is designed this way specifically to allow maximum exhaust convergence from the right hand outlet. The stock mufflers are also chambered differently left and right. Our Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipe uses this same principal however our design and merge collector flows and scavenges more efficiently
So does that mean that you replace that small crossover, or does your header design mean that it's not an impediment to flow?
Will the stock heat shield fit the new 2/1 complete system?
<<<We will no longer be offering 2/1 replacement head pipes, we are going to focus efforts on our new 2/1 complete system which will be released this spring.>>>

Our new Jackpot 2/1 full system will include full stainless steel heat shields with a mirror finish
So does that mean that you replace that small crossover, or does your header design mean that it's not an impediment to flow?
We use the stock crossover with our pipe as well, as noted earlier this allows for maximum exhaust flow from the RH exit and we are maintaining as much velocity as possible. When we were testing pipe design we tried everything from opening up and enlarging the crossover pipe to reducing the flow and nearly blocking it off. It comes down to a fine balance between the collector design and the flow on the outlet side, the stock crossover is incorporated with our overall design and works very good in this application as well
wachuko, yes, you can just replace the headpipe and keep your stock mufflers to get rid of the heat, there are people on here that know more than I do, but I believe the bike would also have to be "tuned" for the new headpipe minus the "cat".
Our Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipes are now available with a proprietary 2 process internal/external HTC ceramic coating. All of our head pipes are constructed from aerospace grade stainless steel, they are 100% built in the USA, and feature a lifetime warranty. Here are a couple pictures
