I have purchased 2 and both went on fine and I really like them. Good quality in my opinion & pricing was GREAT !! Here's a picture of your 8" on my 08 Ultra.

Love mine. When I need a new shield LRS will be the place I go to for sure.

I pulled mine and went back to the stock shield. Couldn't stand the sun glare on the flip-up portion when the sun was behind me.

Fit and finish are perfect.
I'm already planning for an even shorter one for summer.
What I really like is that the flip doesn't channel away a ton of air at slower speeds giving me more air around town.
