Default Installed Vision today

I received my Vision tuner last night and just finished installing it. Jamie sent me a map for my bike this morning and I loaded it into the Vision.
Installing it onto the bike was easy. The bikes port connector is under the fuse panel under the left side cover. I routed the cable that comes with the unit from there across behind the tank and under the tank through the tack/speedo housing and up the bars to my Tech mount. After attaching the Vision to the mount and adjusting the angle to what I thought was good for viewing while riding I turned on the bike.
Note - make sure your handlebar swith is set to run or you will get a No ECU Found display. - Don't ask LOL.
After saving the stock map I loaded the map from Jamie.
The bike seems to idle good and also seems to react to the throttle quicker. Since it is only 9 above and 4 feet of snow on the ground it will be awhile before I can take it out for a run.

Cool. Do you have to leave that display there all the time or can you remove it? How much does it cost? Do you tune it on the fly?

I've seen that this product was out but have never looked into how it works.

You do not need to leave it on the bike.
You can ride the bike with it on and do a real time record of how it is running pull into a parking lot and look at settings and adjust them. load the may you just made and ride again to see if that map works better and since you can have 6 maps loaded on the unit you can switch between them. You do have to stop to do that as you need to turn off the bike for it to set.
Cost is $499.00 plus shipping to forum members. Considering it comes with the usb cable to connect to your laptop the price is inline with the TTS Masterturner

That sounds like a nice piece. Does it come with the software for the computer? Is it married to your bike or can you tune different bikes with one tuner? I have a harley tuner on my bike but it is married to my bike and won't work on a different bike. The dealer said the harley tuner has the VIN number from my bike inputed into the tuner and it will only work on my bike. I was thinking of getting into tuning bikes cause there is a high demand around where I live for someone who can tune the newer injected Harleys.

You could sell them each a tuner

Here's a good thread by Fuel Moto that answers most questions about the Vision...

Is it called Auto Tune Pro? Do you have to have it? How much does it cost?

The company is still developing the auto tune for the Vision so not sure what it will be called. You do not need it for the Vision to work. Consider the Vision along the same lines as TTS and Harley's tuner, but easier to use.
Contact Jamie at Fuel Moto for greater details as that is whom I got my unit from.
