I am looking for short 2into1 side exit exhaust, for my 04' bagger.
I would like it to end at the rear axle and have the exhaust sweep away from the bike.
Could a Dyna exhaust be installed using Dyna rear mounts ?
Any ideas ?
I'm sure a bracket could be fabbed to adapt Dyna exhaust to a bagger. Check the Bassani website, I remember them advertising some short pipes for touring bikes. I don't recall if they turned out though. Samson also had some at one time, although I'm not a big Samson fan.
*** My bad, just noticed you were looking for 2-1, no nevermind the above ***
I like the dual exhaust look, but I like the performance of 2into1.
Using a short 2into1 , it will not look unbalanced from the rear and using a turn out will keep the bike clean.
I'm a very satisifed D&D customer - I've had several.... no need to change!
CoolMac had asked about a short pipe and that came to mind.
Yeah I know you are happy with your D&D that's what kinda surprised me with the LSR 2-1 info.
You have me all pumped up about your D&D 2-1, I've thought alot about making the switch. If I knew I would gain from it, I'd consider it. But I do love the sound of my Thunderheader. Beside's my old lady would shi* if I changed the Exhuast again. I just got her convinced about swaping out the cams.
