Estil, now that you have had the "dash " mounted GPS. Do you lik eit on your dash or do you feel like you like it better on a ram mount on handlebars? I'm wanting to buy the zumo660 but I'm still trying to figure out and talk to others that already have a GPS. trying to figure out which set-up i want to go with. I've heard some say they have had both the Ram and dash mount and they like the Ram mount better. But I've ran across many that has had both and like the Dash mount better.
I did install the HD Road Tech Zumo 660 model. And I'm proud to say everything works exactly as advertised for the NIM, iPod and Zumo!
BTW Carl...thanks again for all of your help during my install. Damn those bent pins! LOL!
Steve
I have the RT660 Zumo on my bike. Nav prompts work well with bluetooth headset.
Now I want to get the prompts via the HD wired headset. I can get AM,FM,WEATHER, XM, IPOD all via the wired head gear BUT I DO NOT GET THE NAVIGATION PROMPTS. Just hear the "cut out" but no sound. When I take the helmet off I can hear the prompts coming out of the 660 itself but not through the Harmon Kardon.

What am I missing?
Thanks in advance
What I think I had was dirty connections on my FLHTK with the NIM. Set the GPS to play music and see if it is coming out of the GPS speaker or the AUX setting. I would just keep the music playing and remove and reinstall the GPS in it's cradle. When the music would come over the bike's speakers then so would the directions. It was a pain but I didn't trouble shoot any more than that before I sold the bike.

I don't use Bluetooth, but I did notice the following in the NIM instructions:
Bluetooth Settings for Zumo Device:
The Zumo's Bluetooth and Audio Out settings should be handled in this manner:
o When a BT headset is paired with the zumo, select Main
Menu>Volume>Audio Output>Headphone .
o When no BT headset is paired with the zumo, disable the BT pairing even for mobile phones by selecting Main Menu>Tools>Settings>Bluetooth>Disabled

Try setting your speaker rocker switch to the center position.

Thanks. I'll give that a go.
Question remaining is " do I have to use the AUX on the HK?" If so then I must have a wire between 660 and AUX, right?
