I'm installing the Harley Fairing mount for my Zumo 660.
The directions are a little vague on the wiring where it first comes out of the GPS Cradle and then into the Fairing.
The wiring comes out on the right side of the Cradle...does it just make a tight loop and then go back into the wire channel on the mount and into the Fairing?
Seems like that's the way it has to be, just thought it was kinda weird to leave that little loop of wire showing?
I did a couple for the 550s last year and it seems like I drilled a hole where you really couldn't see it and ran the wires in behind the inner fairing. I also find the hot wire coming from the acc switch and use it for the gps power.
When GPS is mounted, wire is hidden. The garmen portion of the mount is meant for multiple applications not just HD Fairings (cars, handlebar, etc) same mount for the non-HD 660/665
