Default battery tender

went to install my battery tender on my limited
i pulled the seat and WOW where did the battery go ?
all i see is ABS crap ! do you have to remove all that to get to the battery ?

My 2011 already had battery tender cables attached, exited the bike near the right side panel, just plug it in. Good luck

I believe that's a dealer installed item. Some dealers may not add it on.

Look above the transmission under the seat on the frame, thats where mine is. Kind of a pita to hook my tender up, guess I am doing it the difficult way. Mignt try to plug in the tender while seated reaching under the seat from both directions, that might be easier than trying to plug the tender in from only one side with both hands reaching in. Anyway, yours is underthere somewhere, keep looking. Stay safe.

my ol shovelhead had a sidecover to get to the battery...yours is stuffed in there somewhere lol

Guess I got lucky. Removed the seat (1 screw) and loosened the ECM tray (1 bolt). Pulled the tray loose and pushed it aside.
If all goes as planned I may need to get to the battery again, 5 or 6 years from now.
