Question What to do?

Just got an 2008 Street Glide with Stage 1 SE slip ons / SERT and its a pig (replaced 06 Street BOB with Stage III wrecked)
Considering
D & D 2 into 1 with FI2000
or
Vance & Hines 2 into 1 with FI2000

What do ya think?

Thanks
Eddie

Congrats on the new ride...Check out FuelMoto, Forum sponsor, nothing but good things said about their service and the results from their power packages. Seem to be reasonably priced too...JMO

Just remember you are hauling around a lot more weight now- figure it takes about 1 HP for every 15 pounds of weight...I bet you feel it on the butt dyno.

you need torque to get all that moving, so a 2/1 is a good choice.

just keep expectations realistic ( and i wonder how well it was 'tuned" by the last guy.)

Well it depends on the amount you wanna sink in right? I am going 120R as I'm retarded. But you can go cams, exhaust and re-tune.

I have Andrews 26H in my 96" and it did pretty good. Until I got itchy again...

120R Crate engine will have my 96" on the shelf [spare] and away we go!!

everything else was relying on the one motor... Which is fine, but a 117" with bottom end work, well it's pricy, and no warranty, no spare.

the fi2000 is about as good as the vance & hines fuelpack. if you want something that really dials in your bike, it's going to take an sert, sepst, tts mastertune, or pcv. i'm using a sepst, dynoed and it works great. the fi2000, isn't that the cobra product? if you want great results that the dyno guy will want to tune with, then get the top shelf stuff. i'm using the vance&hines 2 into 1 pro pipe, and it really exceeded my expectations by a huge amount. i'm also really happy with the sepst i'm using. each person will have their opinion, and this was mine.

I have the TTS on mine, great tune gave me 85hp/95tq from the TC88 with S&S 510 cams, which are a really mild cam. Feuling has nice cams as does S&S and Andrews...

You said it has a stage 1, SERT, and slip ons. Just try tuning it properly and see what happens, it would be foolish to swap the SERT for a fi2000. If the performance of a stage III Street Bob is your expectation, you will need the 120R in the Street Glide to make it not a pig.

NO I DON"T expect stage III performance
just want to wake it up a bit
so you think keep SERT
and go 2 into 1 V & H or D & D

Thanks
