...to pull behind the bike. I sold my custom made tear drop trailer and orderd this trailer. I needed a bigger trailer so I can haul the camping gear and a compartment for my new boys. I'm putting a partision up near the front of the trailer for Tater n Tot. Their compartment will have removable padded walls, a popup excape vent, 2 side vents. I will have a harness system for each pup. I'm adding a windshield just in front of the excape vent, so they boys can pop their heads out and still be behind a windshield. I'll use my stock windshield from my bike and mount it so it can be removed if not needed. I'll take pics of the trailer after the modifications are done. I expect to have the trailer here at the end of next week.
Windshield for the pups? Heck, I thought dogs loved to have their face in the wind.
True...they do. It's more for their protection from what debris maybe thrown their way from the back of the bike.
Americas Best Trailers is the company. They are running a special for the month of January on their 5ft XL trailer. Check out their ebay ad. Good discount plus over $1k worth of trailer accessories for free.
I called and talk to the owner and ordered mine that way. He gave me the same deal that is on ebay.
Did you get it for the $1,375.00 + frt as listed on Ebay?
Yes....plus the freebies that are listed in the sale as well. The items he is "giving" for free are not cheap. If you were ordering some other vendor's trailer, those items really add up fast and then puts the total cost + shipping in the $2k to $4k price range. I've checked out probably 15 other vendors. To me it was a great deal
