with a 5 speed its fine like mentioned about 500 more rpm cruises ok up to 70 after that ya start feeling the rpms vibes

yeah, the way i did it, going down 3 teeth on the front primary pulley, was advertised as a 400 RPM increase at 60. but i also changed the tire size, but not by much, so i could have been at a different rpm at different speed. up to about 70-80 wasnt too bad. but, i rode across country at 85-95 (95 across west texas! love their speed limits out there!) and yes, it will buzz the **** out of you! lol!

dude! thanks for posting! this thing is great! so, basically, i went cross country, on my 2004 flhrsi, at 80 mph and higher, and stayed over 4000 RPM !what a testament to harley longetivity! that bike now has 93,000 miles and is partially disassembled for an overhaul. (it wold have more miles, but i was deployed for over 44 months while i owned it, and i bought it new in july 04) but, that bike took a beating, and was still running hard when i took her apart.
