I went out and checked my bike right away. Dang my motor shakes too. I called the dealer right away. He says this is an easy fix but if I don’t get it in right away it could be costly. I need to install pipes and an air cleaner. Also I need to have the computer reprogrammed with the balanced version ID-10-T program. He will give me double credit on my chrome cash coupons for the repairs. They said I probably lugged the motor too many times and that is not covered under warranty. Dang I’m lucky I found this out. And here I was a fat dumb and happy 07 owner thinking I was in Harley bliss. Little did I know.

Oh man, a shaking motor is bad enough, but it already started WAVING?? My goodness, better get to the stealer...(OOOPS!) I meant dealer ASAP!
...naaa, on second thought, all he's gonna say is "They all do that!" Forget that. Better to post on HD Forum & ask PhilM about it. He knows his stuff & will give you good solid advice.

Darn...had to go out and check because I had never noticed.....but I got the shakes too[:@] I am going to start a campaign to stop people from buying these stillness impaired scooters. It is only at idle and goes away when I give it some gas....but argh it is sooo annoying

Oh geezz. I didn't want to say anything, cause I thought I would look stupid. But now you all are talking about having the same problem, hey. I sat out in the garage reading the shop manual on my 06RG, cover to cover to see if it mentioned anything about this shaking problem. I had the HK radio on but didn't realize I had it in ignition mode and the headlight must have been on for the four hours I was reading. When I realized I couldn't hear the radio anymore, I got up to increase the volume, but nothing happened. It suddenly occured to me, try the push button now. I did, and no shaking problem anymore.

Phil M's shaking problem is due to the 2-1 pipe causing a left to right balance issue on his particular bike. The fix would be a 10lb useless piece of ghost pipe. The rest of you experiencing this problem are just plain SOL!
