I've only owned my Harley for a week but after owning/driving my old Dodge for over 26 years now and currently running a big cube, big block with solid motor mounts my Harley is as smooth as a Caddie
Pretty close.
It's a Dodge Challenger.
This one I bought 26 years ago at age 15, it was the first car I ever owned.
It's currently running a stroked big block that started as a 440 but now is 499 cubic inches.
I had a SuperBee and sold it a couple years ago. I wish I had it back.
I have been buying these old Mopars for many years, it's an addictive sickness like these Harleys.
I'm to the point that I am stacking them in the corner of the garage
The top one is an original plum crazy purple 71 R/T Challenger, it's getting the Hemi, only a little more cubes than the original 426's.
I admire that! I just wish I had the mechanical ability...and patience...to fool with old muscle cars.....
Jim
Actually the older cars are a lot easier to work on then the new stuff with all the computers and sensors on them.
I'm getting ready to do some wrenching on my new 97 Ultra Classic which is a going to be a whole new learning process, maybe I can get this mysterious engine shaking problem fixed .
