id say switch it out... if it starts making noises then change it back... some do and some dont

I have acually heard that many times from people in the business that don't make a dime off what oil you use,take the synthetic out of your bike.I have not stopped using it yet in the motor but had to take it out of the transmission due to leaks.The leaks did stop when I went to regular gear oil.

Default I switch...

...all of my bikes, past and present to syn. at 1000 miles. Let the dealer do the 1000 mi. as it was part of the purchase deal on my latest bike. Went with their syn 3, then put my usual Mobil 1 products in at 3500 mi. My oil pressure always drop down from 32lbs. to 28lbs. going down the road, when I go from dyno to syn. Also, the dang things always get a bit more valve-train noise when doing so.
