Yup, finishing up my last woodworking project in my shop, swept for the last time and time to start on the bike. Moved it in before the last 20" of snow fell. Can't wait to get my updated fenders, Agitators and comp sprocket in. May have to wait until after Green Bay beats up the Stealers, though.
Has there been any mods on the bike yet. Would love to see some pics when it is all done!
Still waiting for the wheels to get here.... Yesterday was sunny and made it to 60 and today is supposed to reach almost 70. Bummin cause she is still in the garage in pieces...
So far the brembo conversion has been fairly simple. I did have a little trouble getting the new chrome banjo bolts through the fittings on my brake lines, that and I had to assemble the master cylinder because I bought the housing from a chromer and got all the internals through my local dealer. The rotors and new pads are coming with my new wheels so those I haven't worked with yet, but am hoping it will come together smoothly. WVultra has a damn good conversion guide for doing the brembo upgrade...
Wheels should be coming to me soon, I hope... HogPro has the front, waiting for the back and then they can ship to me. Good thing it's still in the 30's here..
I hope so. The wait is killin me, even though it's still a little colder than I like for riding. I'm thinking I should have the wheels in my hands by next weekend and be able to get her all back together...
