Winter mods
Was just searching for things on RG headlights and found this little post in the DIY area,

Think I will look into modding my headlight housing or getting the one from a 2010 so changing bulbs can be done without taking the fairing off...

Was trying to get the brake upgrade done today, unfortunately, found out I also need new brake lines to go with the new master cylinder and new calipers..... Local dealer isn't open again until Tuesday...
Where did you purchase your Condor Chock? What did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?
TIA
TIA
I managed to get most of the work done on the brembo conversion. A very big thank you goes out to WVULTRA here on the forums for his help and a very useful conversion guide. Now waiting on the wheels, rotors, and brake pads to complete the job...

Another thing I got done with this weekend is put in the newer headlight housing. The reflectors mount in front of the new one as opposed mounting from behind on the older version. Now it is possible to change the headlight bulbs without taking the whole fairing off. With a little modification, I can now also get to all three adjusting screw from outside the fairing.
I found a take of sportster sprocket(68T) at the local dealer yesterday, will get that on as soon as the wheels arrive. I had also found out that it was a pain in the caboose to get the original battery out. Maybe it was just me but it took me a good 20 min/half hour to get the friggin battery to come out its' spot. Before I put the new one in, I looped a large zip tie around it (the ones tin knockers use to tie flex to ductwork) so I have a handle to lift it out of its hole.

Being a "Tin Knocker" I did the same thing when it took me awhile to get my battery out. what a PIA that was.
Good idea.
Got the wheels on yet ? nice looking bike.
