I had no luck with HD Boots...would wear through 2 pairs a year.
Never tried Milwaukee.
I went with Georgia Boot Company. Their G8040 boot is perfect for riding and you won't wear these out anytime soon, that's for sure. They can be found online cheapest for around 200 from some Industrial Safety websites. But I figure spending 200 now is better then the 10 pairs of HD boots that these will outlast. JMHO
Still wearing my dusty, beat up 3 y/o Milwaukee's. Wife has a pair of 3 y/o HD boots holding up well also (she rides her own). I am sure neither is the "best" boot but both have held up well. Seem to be of the same grade quality to me.
