Default Need oil change location when touring?

Maybe this can be a sticky...post here IF you are willing to provide a location for touring Brothers to do oil changes or light fixes.

One of the few headaches in touring is figuring out where to do service intervals.

Please keep responses to the point- no "subscribed"
Keep it light & simple so that someone in need can scan through on a mobile device and find help if needed.

Post location and how you want to be contacted.

Maybe post if you have special tools or talents.

Phoenix Arizona, zip 85028

pm me if you need a place.
Have a jack, basic hand tools, dealerships and indy shops close by. I can get your old oil to the recycler

Are you serious?

Back in the day of dirty jeans, crusty fingernails, missing teeth, and ratbikes ridden by the scurge of society, I would have jumped on this in a heartbeat...

But today, with all the lawyers, doctors, and pathetically rich people sippin the cool-aid and sportin' the Harley Lifestyle, I stand a pretty good chance of being sued for some silly **** like not remindin them to replace the drain plug sometime between emptying the pan and leaving my driveway!

(Ok, I'm not that scared really... But, you wouldn't want to come to my house anyway! You might have to wash yer bike before gettin back on the road!)

CroK said it best. Take it to a dealer out on the road, sue them if something goes wrong. If you want to just stop for a beer, I'm cool with that.

That's some funny **** there... i don't care who you are...Seriously though...When i go on a trip it's usually pre-planned and if i need to do more than 5000 miles i will put fresh oil in before i leave...If it's worst than a oil change it goes to the dealer on a trip...

just couldn't pass on that......

hey - why not use the HOG 2011 Touring Handbook for dealer locations along your route.

now, if you're in San Antonio and need an independent mechanic - pm me.

in this day and age, it would be foolish to let some stranger on to your property and around your family and belongings. this is a bad idea. if you can afford to take road trips-you can afford to take it to the dealer.
