OK depending on who you read and who you ask I get a different answer. Even called 2 dealers and got 2 different answers.
Is a MU85B16 77H Harley dunlops the same as a 140 or 150 ? I got 2 new wheels and tires for my 2000 RKC 300.00 for all of it and the rear has a MU85B16 on it? I want to get rid of those damn lace wheels I hate to clean them, can't plug a inner tube.
1 Dealer said it would work but I had to get a wheel install/upgrade kit that was 70.00 for everything including the new bearings and a spacer.
Dealer 2 said it would not fit?
People on forum say it matches a 140 the other half say it matchs a 150............. Some help yall. thanks in advance.
Well, since no one has chimed in yet, I think the best thing to do is take some measurements. Measure the tire you have, measure the swing-arm opening, then maybe even go to the bike shop and measure the 140 and 150 tire.
Sorry ... I know thats not much help. Just a suggestion.
Why not just check Dunlop's website for the tire specs? If you do, you'll find the tire width is 5.51" and converted to mm it's 139.9 mm--so call it 140.
