Got my first HD last year...got another one a week ago....2011 RKC..103..VH X pipe..SERT...and all the rest. Super mint.
HD is really good...it is better than I ever thought it would be.
welcome to your new family bro! I will warn you though, start listening to these folks 'round here will cost you thousands in mods!!!!!! Ya gotta love it though!!!!!!!!!! We'd all love to see the new scoot....
I had two Yamahas I sold last year to buy my first HD, a 2007 RSV and a 2008 Stratoliner. I agree completely about the HD Dealers treating you like a new friend. Happy with your trade? My 2010 FLHTC isn't a better bike than my Venture, but so far I like it better.
Same deal for me, Jack. I've had 21 bikes, but never a Harley. Mostly Yamahas. Last three; Roadstars. Other than minor maintenance, I never had a problem with any of the Stars. I hope the new SG does as well. I sure love the ride. I kept a '06 Roadstar Midnight just for a little variety.
I totally agree that some dealers are first class. My dealer here in Ocala helped me get all enthused about HD and bent over backwards to answer any and all questions. Thanks Randy! Even though I found a whopper deal with a private owner (relative), he welcomed me back to the dealership and offered to assist me in any way with my new bike. Now that's class! Good luck with your new ride, Jack!
This will be a new experience for me I have been riding Victory bikes since 2003 and before 2003 a Yamaha FJR, Goldwing,Yamaha Virago. Can't wait for the snow to go
