I don't have 'em either. Don't need 'em unless you raise the CR.

I went thru this whole thread and it seems to me that it's a Pay me now or a Pay me later.CR's now or a starter later. My bike goes in for the HD 103 stage 11 in a couple of weeks and I guess I'll add the CR's. It's just a matter of automatic or manual. Don't want to invest 2500.00 bucks and fall short over a couple of hundred dollars. I don't want to risk being on vacation on a hot day and have my starter choke 1,000 miles from home. Pro's and con's on manual or automatic

Thanks

Get em help your bike start easier, and keep your parts from running out prematurely.

I never have used the manual CR's. Harley added the automatic CR's to my 103 police bike the first summer I had the bike as a recall. They work flawlessly. They make a huge difference on a hot, humid day when you stop at the gas pump for a quick refill.

Well............

just got my 103/255 kit installed. Only got 200 miles on the combo, but its Jan in the NE.
The weekends have been nice for Jan, so I hope to get atleast another 100 today (high 30's and sunny)
Guess when summertime gets here I'll be regretting not having CR's installed. My thinking right now will go with the S&S east start cams
