So do you have to purchase this ECU separately?

yes according to Rev Perf you would need to purchase a 2010 ecm. That is what they told me when I called them a couple weeks ago.

So where the heck do you buy one, and how much does that add to the cost?

It's my understanding if you send them an 11 ECM they can send you back an earlier ECM (if they have one available) that will work the exact same. I was told there would be no difference at all in performance or reliability since the ECM's from the 10 model are the same. If you call REV Perf I'm sure they would be happy to talk to you about it. I've talked with them before and they are great to work with.

I have a 2009 ecm, SEPST, cables, software, dvd, and two O2 sensors for sale for $350 shipped.... Play with the racetuner and this ECM or send the ECM for flash and keep your original on the shelf...

and per Rev Perf. they told me that is what I would have had to do to get the EMS for my 2011. They said just buy a 2010 ecm to send them.

Which is what made my decision easier and I just went with the Power Vision unit instead.
