Default Re-use slip ons?

I want to eventually get a new a/c, tuner, and full black exhaust (new header, etc) but after buying the new bike I need some time to recover some scratch.

I have a set of SE pipes (64926-99) that came off of an 05 Road King. They sounded great and want to know if I can put them on a 2011 Street Glide until I can afford to get what I want?

I'm 99% sure you can without any difficulty. Then you'll know how they sound on THAT bike, and it might give you some further ideas for what you want in the future. They'll work fine. I put a set of SE from an 04 onto my buddies 2010, and it went smooth as silk. And he's a happy camper.

You are probably going to want to put on a stage 1 pretty quickly. Starting in 2010 touring bikes run reeeeeal hot. You need the stage 1 to help cool it off. Just adding pipes won't do anything for the heat.

reusing them is quite ok but muht suggest pulling out the baffles just to knock off the carbon and such. After too many miles, those babies are never coming out. I found out!!!! Pull them out and clean say every 5000 miles or so. Easy job to do
