Default Had An OOPS!!!

I just got my inner fairing back today and was down to the last mirror to wrap the project up for the night and snap. I over tightened the last mirror and snapped the plastic bolt. Now here is a question is there a way to replace that part on the mirror because i have my mirrors painted to match my inner and really don't want to repaint if i don't have too.
so if anyone has had this happen what did you to fix the issue.
thanks

Try epoxy or have someone plastic weld it.

I did the same thing...I just used a bigger washer and screw. Worked for 22,000 miles now. That is some cheap ****.

I did the same. It is cheap stuff. i cut the plastic bolt off at the mirror base, drilled and tapped the base, screwed and epoxied a 3/8" bolt into the base and then mounted it back on. Works like a charm. Beats paying $50 for a new one.
