if you bought a clearance shield just recently and are waiting on the budget usps shipping, remember that other mail is taking priority and there is a lot of weather delays going on right now that could be bumping your shield back farther.
i've ordered 2 shields from them. a winter one and a summer one. ordered them at a good time of year i guess, had no problems and received them in less than a week.
i have no complaints with lrs, and have referred several people to them, who also happen to have no complaints.....
I have a 6" ultra and am going to order a 7" ultra as well just to see if I like it better. Received it in usual budget snail mail fashion-slowly. Good thing it's winter. You get what you pay for, some people just think they deserve more.
WELL it took a total of 18 DAYS to get it and like I said I want to return it because I purchased another Brand(National) which was a little more BUT I had it and put it on the bike in 15 minutes.
Now I already stopped payment and asked for a Call Tag for P/U of the shield. STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM !
If you guys really think that this is a 1 customer issue you are wrong there are plenty of people who have had this done to them , maybe not as many days as me but with the over 9 days shipping to get it. 9 days would have been fine but these Bozo's 18n days ? and never E mailed me OR called me to address this ? AT ALL ! ?
And if you think that is OK for them to do that to a Forum Member then thats your problem , not theirs. Because they will do something else some time to you and when they do YOU will have been warned on how they treat members and will not be able to say anything because you knew they are like that any way. So good luck when dealing with them and I hope nothing ever happens to you like they did and still are doing it to me.
If it happened to YOU ^ after 18 days ? Do you think YOU deserved less?

got mine yesterday, less than a week after ordering....bought the 7" ultra in med tint.....jury's still out on it....i buy a new screen every year...i've run the way too short 4", a clearview 6" twice, a clearview 8"(too tall for me and is in my line of sight)....now the 7" lrs....it does change the wind around my face, moved the blast higher up on my forehead, and is out of the line of sight....however, i think i like the 6", thinkin on gettin an LRS 6" ultra....i do like the curve on the ultra as compared to the clearview, and the quality is just as nice, AND is cheaper than CV....thats it...all i know
I order an 8 inch classic for my SG in Jan. and I recieved the sheild in just 4 days with no problems except the fact that it didn't fit. called them and they said they would send me another one right away and a call tag for the first one. another 4 days later got the second shield and once again didnt fit! Now they want me to take pictures and email them pics of haw it doesn't fit. I did and they said they wont srnd another one out till I trace my stock shield on paper and send it back with the second one. well before I got that far the next day the ups guy was knocking on my door to pick up shield 2. So a few calls and emails later I decide to just tell them to refund my money.. but on the day i was going to do that I got home from work and there was shield 3 on my porch. Imagine my surprise. I take it in and open the box and it is smashed into about 40 pieces. well again phone calls and emails and then all the sudden I get email saying they have refunded my money. Broken shield still in my garage they didn't send a call tag for it.
So Let's recap
Shield 1 ship to me and ship back
shield 2 ship to me and ship back
shield 3 ship to me and total loss of shield
5 shipping charges at $12 each way
1 loss of shield
and I still am trying to get a new shield.
ah what brand to try now? I am a little gun shy.
I will be a free tester for anyone wanting one! LOL
just ordered the 9in ultra, UPS delivered it 2 working days later. Wife and I tried it for 200 miles. Its ok for the driver but a taller passenger gets a lot more wind than with the 18 tall I had. I put the 18 back on, calm is better than cool for us old timers.
Got to say I have 3 shields from LRS (2 because one was broken by the cat....DONT ASK I WAS PISSED). Anyway they were all here within 5 days except one that was still in production because I was a tester for the x-stream.
I would try to call them if you are still having problems (not reading any more tonight). I strongly believe that they will make it right!!!
Matt finally spoke to me really left a message about sending back the shield? Never mentioned picking up the shield with a call tag just "SEND IT BACK" ? Well then I get charged BOTH ways and then I get "0" for spending my $30 in shipping ?
Does anyone see any sense in me doing that ?
I must be the only one who would expect a Call Tag sent out to me and FULL Return MONEY ! I waited 18 days for it to come here without a call or E mail telling me whats going on and then when it finally comes in and I sent him an E mail stating that I wanted to cancel the order after 14 days and he did not get in touch with me to follow through.
Well I am trying , I will call him and try again?
