I know I have seen this just can't find it. I want to remove the rails on an 09 ultra and plug the holes on the crash bar. any help?

Default Saddlebag Rails

I have a 2010 FLHTCU and just bought the saddlebag supports off a 2009 FLTRX that worked perfectly, as I didn't want the crash guard either. $50 plus $12 shipping on eBay. Bike looks SOOOO much better; must be why they make the Limited this way. AND it looks like I'll be able to sell my old ones on eBay for about $200, so all in all a good move. Took only about 20-30 minutes to swap out.

I bought the crash bars on ebay from a Road King so I wouldn't have to deal with the holes and then sold my original bars and rails on ebay for 225.00. Bike looks so much better now. You can also go with the Streetglide/Roadglide style that has supports only for the bags with no crash bar.
