Does an open A/C like ventilator let more engine noise out
Trying to decide between a couple of A/C's. I can live with sock for rides in the rain (can't avoid it on long rides). Are they noisier than than covered AC's?
i had the heavy breather last year, loved to hear the air intake noise when i crack the throttle; just installed ventilator, have K & N filter on order and hoping for the same sound. its snowed so much since i installed it only got to run bike up to gas station and get stabil through system i didnt have a chance to put bike through it's paces. any open hi-flo A/C will have more noise then enclosed filter housing
Just got the K&N installed. Yeah, you can really hear it sucking up more air. I could not hear that before w/ the paper filter. I am pretty stoked with it.

Can you post the K&N part number for the Ventilator? I haven't been able to find a K&N for the Ventilator.
