Question about 07 FLHTC throttle cables

Question about 07 FLHTC throttle cables
On my 07 I see there is a 2 prong plug that plugs into the idle cable right around the front gas tank mount.. It is made as part of the outer cable and the inner cable goes through it. What is this for? Is it some kind of roll off switch.
Also you people that have put taller bars on and had to change cables does this thing come in the new idle cable or did you just get new cables with out it. If you got cables with out it did it effect anything on the bike leaving it disconnected

It's the roll off switch for cruise control equiped bikes. If you have cruise control on yours you will need to get another cable with it but if you don't have cruise control then you can get a cable without it.
