I have a Garmin Zumo 660 which came with the motorcycle mount. I ran the wires under the gas tank and hooked in to the battery. You will love the ram mount. I have the one that goes under the mirror. It put the gps out of the way of the gauges and did not crowd the left side of the handlebars.
there is an accesory plugg under the seat that is controled by the switch on the left side of the naccele.it has 4 small holes that accept duetch conectors,u can use crimp on male duetch for about 10cents apiece or but the harley harness for about 12 $.
