my favorite casino gives away harleys on one of the slot-machine games. it is a progressive penny machine and you have to be playing all 18 lines at 10 cents a line to win the big prize. you can play all day for a $100. they also include money for the tax, title, license, and income taxes that you will have to pay. booze is free...sorry, i have other plans for my money. lol.
It would have to have a drop dead date on it. No matter how many keys were left.
It would have to be drawn by a legitimate organization, not some guy in his back yard (no offense intended)
The keys would have to have serial numbers on them and the person selling the keys would have to have a sheet with all the numbers and the names who bought them.
Currently in the organizing phase with the local Alzheimer Society as the recipient charity. Will have more particulars by week's end. Stay tuned (no pun intended).
How much is it gonna cost you to obtain 299 bogus barrel keys that would have to look identical to the HD one with rubber boot? Each key would also have to be stamped with the correct key code to your bike because your key code to the bike is underneath that rubber boot stamped into the key. Having said that, if you didn't have each one stamped with the same key code it would be easy for someone like me to obtain your key code from your VIN and demand to choose the key that I want, thereby looking under each rubber boot until I found the key code that coincides to your bike.

You've raised a very valid point which is why I am going to leave it to the Charity (Alzheimer Society) to decide what is more practical for them. I should have the particulars by next week.
