Today, I finally took the time to install the chrome front end I have had in a box for over a month.
Wow, what a difference it made in the looks of the bike. With the chrome wheels it really pops. I am very, very, pleased with the outcome.
It really was not that bad of a job. I just took my time and exercised a lot of patience. I even took the time to re-aim the headlamp per the instructions in the manual. It was aimed way off from the factory.
It was just getting dark outside when I finished, so I could'nt get any real good pics. I took these in the "Harley Garage" . LOL
Im planning on doing mine next weekend, Yours Looks great!!!!!!!! So good that im thinking about selling my Renegade wheels and getting the Airstrike like yours!!
Looks really good, great job. Did you need any specialty tools?
The only special tools I used were a 6mm extended allen socket and a piece of 1 1/2" PVC pipe about 10" long.
I cut a slot in it lengthwise and spread it open with a screwdiver, then heated it with a heatgun to open it up to the proper size. The PVC makes a great seal installer.
