So I decided this summer that I wanted to change the look from classic to modern. I am one of those weirdos that likes to put money into my older bike than buy a new one. I just wanted to share with those that are thinking about installing fairings and such for a road King. I love the fact in ten minutes I can go from full fairing to open wind.

Sweeeeet! Amazing what changes can do to a Bike. I kinda like the classic look better. I wish now I'd waited and bought the 2011 Classic. Nice Changes though!

That's a great look, and black and chrome is as classic as it gets.

Great lookin' King, Hank. Why not remove the rear footboards since you have a solo seat? Unless you sometimes change seats? Did that to mine and really think it improves the look (removed the brackets as well).
Those stretched bags, and the bars, look very nice.

Ron I will bet that your dealership will sell you one, go for it the classic is a good looking motor machine

I like it, but if your gonna slap a fairing on there, why not add a radio and speakers too? I ride an 07 RK, and I'm also considering adding a fairing in the future.
