Does anyone have the installation instructions for the adjustable seat back they can email me? Looking for 2010 HD mounting kit 52596-09A. They are not available on the HD accessories website.
I found a NOS 97-08 old style back rest and mounting kit combo at a dealer discontinued stock sale. I can make the front mounting bracket but was wondering how some of the cables were routed. Also trying to figure out which parts are mostly correct. The old kit has a bunch of parts for a bunch of different models.
I've got the instructions but will have to scan them in tomorrow at work. By the way, I had this installed (my some is a Harley mechanic....so he did the work) but I LOVE the new backrest. I ride a 2010 Street Glide......like I said, I've got the hard copy. If you want to hit me back with your email, I can email you the file tomorrow.

Cantonrider, if you use the link above, but substitute the "J" number on your instruction sheet (located near the top of the first page) you should get the pdf version on of the instruction sheet on HD's website which you can post here instead of scanning what you have. The number substitution doesn't work 100% of the time; more like 90%--give it a shot.

Thanks Koga I got the sheets.
Harleypingman - I got the "J" number off the sheets that Koga sent, changed the link and it worked. The correct link is http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...ts/-J04730.pdf Is there a chart that cross references the part number and instructions sheet number?
Bull Dog, I've never seen it cross-referenced. HTT forum has a listing of them IIRC. Another forum member here posted in a reply about the "J" number substitution and it worked for me, so I mentioned it in this thread.
As usual.......a day late and a dollar short.....I've got the doc scanned in, but thanks to Harleypingman for the tip........works GREAT.........glad you got the info...good luck on the cross reference.......
