Anyone else having issues with the iPod interface and the iPod Touch? I was surprised to find the HD iPod interface actually doesn't promise support for the Touch - you're kinda on your own. And my experience has been hit and miss. Somethimes it works but sometimes I have to cycle the head unit power. Has there been any form of firmware update? Surely H-D would have to have some way to support the eveolving line of iPods - the one they say they support isn't even sold by Apple any more (Nano 5th gen).
Not that this may be of any help, but I used my wifes touch pod and had problems changing songs and sudden changes or jumping of songs. By interface do you mean the 3.5mm jack port? which is what I have on my 09. I got tired of trying to see the screen and selecting another song on the wifes so I went out and bought an ipod with the wheel 5th gen and works like a charm. Do you have a buddies ipod you can try that has the wheel just to see if your problem is only related to the touch pod? Wish I could be of better help. PS I also noticed that gloves made it difficult to change/select anything on the ipod, as if the gloves were insulating my fingers if that makes sense!!! Took the gloves off and was all good, Good luck

The Ipod Touch has a feature that allows you to change/skip songs by shaking it (at least mine does anyway). You should be able to go into the settings and shut this feature off if that is the case in your situation. If that's not it I don't know what it is. Good Luck

Yes, well documented on previous threads - go in to Settings / iPod and set "shake to shuffle" to off. I believe default is on

The new CVO's are shipping with the new generation of nano's.
However I use my iPhone with my interface and do experience problems with it. I have volume issues when plugging the phone in before the bike is totally up and running. It also will not continue the last song played after unplugging from the bike. It always jumps to the first song in my library. I've chalked this up to the fact it's an iPhone and not a nano but I don't know this for sure.
