I have the Brukus seat secure and saddlebag secure hardware. Yeah, I know there's cheaper ways to do it but whatever, I'm happy.
What I really like though is the "shield shackle" for my detachable shield.
It really locks that thing in solid and looks better than the spring. Not only do I not worry about someone ripping off my shield, but I also know that it won't go flying off when I'm running down the interstate at 80.
I have a club brother that had a custom blue alligator seat stolen from a hotel in San Diego. He had to use a hotel pillow to ride up to the dealer to get a new seat...

See, Awww Hell naw, i ain't havin that, Brukus? I"m wondering how fast you can send me......
the next time you're in lowes or walmart, go into one of the bathroom stalls. you'll see that the stall panels are attached to the walls of the store with what's called "tamper proof" torx screws. your seat will use a 1/4 inch screw, 20 threads per inch, and a half inch long. be sure to keep a torx tamper proof bit handy. the tamper proof part of it, is a little pin that is forged into the center of the head of the screw which prevents a regular torx bit from working. a screwdriver won't work either. they're really great, and cheaper than anything else i've found. you can get them in stainless which can be polished nicely too.
