"Invisible" Fairing Support for Road Glide FLTR
Anyone used this from Hells Foundry? Thinking of using this instead of the new factory stuff because I not sure I want the taller fairing or the tilt forward (think it would make my 05 stripes look even more out of line.

Should be able to still use the Ultra lower fairings I'm planning on installing, would be a lot easier than removing my whole fairing to install the new factory stuff (which I've already bought) and if I ever decide to raise the fairing up, these would work with the new fairing to frame mount from the new Road Glide also.

That looks trick! Much easier way to install the vented lowers and clean up the front end. The only question I would have would be if there's enough support for the fairing, especially on rough roads.

Meaning no offense and maybe I'm just being paranoid but honestly, they look a bit flimsy to me (at least in the pictures shown in the OP's link) to support the weight of the fairing "and" the aerodynamic loads that could be imposed. I do like the idea of getting the fairing mounts separated from the crash bar though.

These brackets don't support the weight of the fairing.
They're not designed to do that, nor is it stated they do that.
The fairing bracket coming off the frame supports the fairing plenty, by itself.
These Hells Foundry brackets only keep the shell in its proper location.

I thought about buying these instead of the '10 factory mounts so I could fit the vented lowers. I wasn't entirely sure there would still be enough clearance for them to fit. I was also concerned about how much support the provided when subject to a good pounding from bumpy roads.
Please let us know how they work out. I am interested to know how well the lowers end up fitting.

Looking at the factory frame to fairing mount all I can say is it's pretty damn beefy all by it self.
The way it looks like they mount are at an angle which would add to the strength (think awning supports) I think 99% of the load is on the main mount and these are for line up and turn signal purposes mostly...because when I've had them off the fairing was still rock solid
On a side note they look like they might block some of the under fairing updraft also
