Default road king windshield

Any tips on removing the glued on trim strips for a road king winddhield?
Is it possible to do without damaging the lexan?
Thanks for any help.

You just have to be careful taking it slow and easy. I changed mine not long ago and thinking back it might be easier using a heat gun. When mine was done the shield suffered no damage.
BTW, when I went to put it back together I reversed the orientation of the bolts and personally think it looks better.

Anyone use anything besides the two sided tape. I would think something similar, but with a non-skid type surface instead of the tape, would work. Anyone got any ideas.
