That does suck. No transferring it to a different bike later I guess.

Thanks Port Dawg, I like yours as well. The install was pretty straight forward and went like this...Checked odometer reading and then removed left saddlebag, left side cover, and seat. Connected the data transfer cable that was supplied with the new speedo to the new speedo and to the data link connector found behind the left side cover. Set console switch to IGN position and RUN swith on (data transfered in about 10 seconds), turned IGN OFF and disconnected new speedo from data link. Pulled MAIN fuse and covered gas tank with soft cloth. Removed dash/console and disconnected connector from old speedo. Removed retainer and pulled speedo out and removed gasket from old speedo. Installed gasket on new speedo and set it in the console. Aligned and replaced retainer on back of new speedo. Pushed connector onto new speedo and then re-attached the console to the tank. Replaced MAIN fuse and set console switch to IGN and RUN to on to power things up. Checked odometer for correct reading and turned switches off. Reinstalled side cover, seat and saddlebag and then you're done except for configuring the new speedo to the colors you want and info you want displayed.

It was pretty easy and only took about 25 minutes.

Troy

Default Cop RK

Will this work on a Cop RK? Would like to get rid of the bar mounted tach.

I really hope they do. I have damaged hearing and ride with earplugs, so sometimes it's difficult for me to tell if I'm in the right gear. I could really use the tach and the gear indicator for my 2007 RKC trike.

Install couldn't have been easier. Only hard part is trying to figure out which of 600 colors you want to make each section or needle....

Hardest part was getting the connector disengaged from the original speedo, lol.
