Mountguys have a wide variety of mounts for phones and gps. I run a Nuvi 1490 I picked up at Costco on my Ultra Limited bar. Shakes a little at idle but is fine moving or if my hand is on the bar. Its not waterproof so I just remove it if I get caught in a rain. They have a tall mount and short mount, I used the short just to cut down on shake and to get it closer to the bar. I'm just using a small mini USB plug into the lighter socket to power it. Just be sure lighter plug-in does not hit the tank with bars to full left.
If you need a mount for just about anything look at the RAM Mounts. www.ram-mount.com
When you go to the motorcycle section you enter the device you want to mount and what you want to mount it on and it shows you what you need. I even emailed Ram with what I thought I needed and they verified a couple of hours later.
I mounted my NUVI to my handle bar using a camera mount i purchased on my last trip to Deals gap. Mount screws matched with a mic mount on the left grip. Put Velcro on the back of GPS and I just ****** it off and throw it int he bag when off the bike.
