Outlast Technology? Anybody Using it?

Just wondering if anyone has tried this product? I got an email from Roadgear saying these jackets, with space age technology were on sale. There's a link with a short video explaining if anyone is interested. I'd be interested to know if anyone out there has used it, and what their opinion regarding it's effectiveness.

I got the same email today. I am interested before I buy something else for my GF. In the mean time, I'll keep my Gerbings.

I've got Outlast in my Lee Parks gloves. They do a decent job of keeping my hands warm down into the upper 30s (assuming I'm using the heated grips).

Worked really well re keeping my feet warm in a pair of socks. Effect lasted for about 20 mins. Did not work re keeping them cool. It is supposed to work both ways depending on the material phase change temp. I have a under-vest made from it and I dont think it works at all. Note all articles were purchased some years ago so the application technology may have improved.

Thanks for the input. I'd like a little stronger recommendation before I drop that kind of coin on another (can't live without) jacket. Appreciate the comments.
