For those of you who utilize an IPOD while riding where do you mount it? I've seen the various RAM mounts for the handlebars, tank pouch etc…
I refuse to spend $400 for the Harley IPOD interface. I can buy way too much "safety chrome" for that $400…

to be fair, the interface does give you quite a bit of functionality, plus the sound quality is better through the interface than it is through the aux cable.
Harmon K Drive and Play. $25 off ebay. I mount a Nano inside the fairing but you can mount it anywhere. The advantage for me is the screen is in line of site, and the control **** works the same as the ipod and can be used with gloves. It is very water resistant as I have ben caught in quite a few rain storms.
