Cool Good Suggestion, but...

Hey Tek74,
Good suggestion, only issue is, I want to keep the current custom pegs I have.

This is one solution, and a good one, that you shared - thank you! :-)

I am hoping we can find either an extender for use on any pegs, OR some one has designed and made a shifter arm that bends out and away from the bike.

Or convince the makers of the extended pegs to come up with some other options that look better than an OEM peg.

I added two 1 inch chrome spacers to my wifes Triglide that I purchased at the Local Do It Center. I had to purchase a 5 inch 5/16 fine thread bolt to hook it all together, the bolt is not chrome, but it works.

Rob,
This is what I was thinking, and I think I have come up with a very nice solution to this. I will have picts and parts soon.

Pingel makes a shift lever extender that moves the peg out 1.5"
Or you can go all out and get one of there electric shifts.

Ok - I found it

The problem with this implementation is it eliminates the heel shifter - I do not want to get rid of the heel portion.
