Neither! It appears you're shopping at a dealer and can save AT LEAST another $2K buying private party, many for sale include transferable warranties. Don't fool yourself with false confidence because they have a big HD sign outside! You're being offerred $1K off retail book, big deal! It's a huge sellers' market right now and you could do a whole lot better (I hold a state sellers license).
RK hands down...I didn't read all the posts but I'm sure it's been said...The RK is the most versatile tourer in the HD line up. You can add a tour pack and lowers + fairing or just the windshield and take it all off for a cruiser looking ride for around town. It's like having multiple bikes in one. Myself, I'm not big on the "batwing" fairing the "sharknose" is more my style but I would never give up my RK...I have it so it fits my riding style...Good luck in your choice.
I have an 06 ultra classic. Once i figured out i had a bad rear shock mine rides as good as the new frame and handles better. People attribute the so called better ride to the frame when its actually the rear tire. When the rear tire gets about 4-5 thousand miles on it signs of wear start to appear. It starts to "flatten" in the middle which will cause that dreaded high speed wobble in the curves. New tire=problem solved. Most people i ride with don't have a problem that soon but if you ride as aggressively as i do you'll notice it. Still i wouldn't spend the extra money for the new frame.
