Default Finally did it!.....

Picked up my bike yesterday from the dealer. I had them put the 103 kit on my RK. What a difference! Just riding it home I can tell the difference in throttle response and just the sound of that healthy motor. Can't wait until Sunday when the weather clears up and I'm not doing taxes so I can take a ride down the coast to see my daughter. After tax season I'm ready to roll!

Will do. Once I get it past that 1,000 mile break in AND keep my throttle hand under control, I'll post about mileage, etc.

Looking forward to reading your observations as well. What cams did you use, SE255?

That's a very good setup for a bagger, IMO, and if I was going to Stage II I would go with this option or the Fuel Moto 107 kit with 555 cams. For those of you looking to spend less money yet get a good bang-for-the-buck performance upgrade, buy some used 255 cams on Ebay (low-mileage CVO pulls) and install them yourself in your stock (Stage I) TC96 or 103. I did that and the 255's do very well in a Stage 1 environment (tuner, mufflers, and AC) with stock compression.

Congrats on the new ride. I did the same thing to mine, 103ci & SE255 cams.

My bike is at the dealer now with a completed 103" flat top build (cylinders bored)/Andrews 54H cams/.030 hg and full head work. They dropped me a note Tuesday saying they made a base SEPST calibration and ran it 10 miles on a dyno. They said it sounds very healthy. Here in WI I won't even pick it up until the end of March but I am getting real antsy!! Enjoy your ride
