Check out this site, http://gopro.com/ My buddy has one of these and its awesome, relatively inexspensive too. You can set it up for video or snap shots
I have one of the older ones, it's wideangle.
Works ok but if doing it again I would get wideangle.
I have it mounted on the top of my helmet or on the handlebars.
The helmet looks weird but takes the best pictures.
I use Rams 2 ball clutch perch mount...one for the gps.. the other for my camera. I adapted a camera mount from an old tri-pod to fit the Ram mount. I can take snap shots or video.
My sig other picked up a set for me for my birthday. I can't wait to try them out. We are headed for New Zealand in April/May and I plan on wearing them hunting too.
Only downside is the Harley handle bars vibrating at low RPM.
Actually, I have learned that it is not bad at all even at the stop. You can see in this clip at the time mark from 2:50 - 2:58 minutes. I let the handlebar freely vibrating, and my handlebar has really vibrated during a stop, but you hardly see the vibration in the video.
I think the RAM mount and the stabilization of the camera have been working together.
