Default PC-V Revxtend

Just installed a PC-V and Dyno tuned muffs on my 2010 FLHX w/ SEAC and downloaded map. Just wanted to ask if enabling the Revxtend box on PC 5 would make any differnace in performance besides raising the Rev limit to 6200?I didnt do a stage one D/L on my ECM,so it running stock. Will it increase performance, will it effect MPGs? Would be good to know,Thanks guys.

It will simply let it rev to 6250, however on mine the tach still stops at 5500..don't know if they have figured a cure for this yet or not..Scooter

Unless you do cams it's done making anymore power before 5500 RPM so there's really no point to reving the **** out of it.

Scooter,
I set mine back to 5500 because of the same reason. I was told this can be cured by getting the Stage 1 ECM flash by HD. Just didn't think it was worth it. I just set it to 6200 for the dyno and 5500 for the street.

To the OP, your stock motor is done at 5500, shift it. Heck, my warmed up motor is done at 5500....sort of.

I agree on stock. Mine's climbs all the way to 62 though. I wasn't gonna do the download to make the tach read right either.
